Row Row Row Your Boat

Ah Friday at last.  This week was painfully long, but it is finally at an end.  I worked today to round out the craziness, and it went fine.  A fainting child and a child who broke her wrist.....all in a day's work.
Tonight Cainan had his monthly scouting pack meeting.  We are just at the beginning of this scouting stuff, but Cainan is enjoying it.  I am still on the fence about boy scouts, but we will see how it goes.
Tonight they had some kind of boat regatta.  We found out about it on Tuesday, and on Wednesday I picked up the boat from his scout master.  He had to put it together and then they would race them tonight.  He and Mat had a good time painting it and getting it all ready for the little regatta.
Tonight he and Mat went to scouting event and Cainan had a great time.  He came home talking and talking about it.  Mostly about how his boat seemed to be a bit top heavy and kept tipping over....but he had fun.

I am glad he has something just for him.  And he announces everywhere he goes that he is a cub scout.

Mat took some pictures with his Iphone, so they aren't very clear, but they are cute - enjoy!

Wow!
That sounds fun! I was in girl scouts when I was 11 through 12 and we went to the Alaska State fair in Palmer. I had to go home early because of getting a cold.
Since I was a preemie I had BPD which today, gives me mild asthma. That was a bummer, cause when I was a kid, I loved doing anything fun and productive.
Cainin is just like ''George'' when he builds the boat off The Stuart Little Movie! GREAT JOB GUYS!

(P.S. Could you please update more about Finley and her LCA, again too?)

We have also felt scouting was a good activity for boys. I know we joked about A.J.'s experience but he has some wonderful memories from it. - Mom
