After we returned from vacation, Finley had to say goodbye to two of her really close friends. Our neighbors are moving to California for new jobs and new beginnings, but we are going to miss them so. They were the first people we met when we moved to Massachusetts and they have been amazing neighbors and friends. Over the last 4 years, our girls have grown close and I know how Finley's heart hurts from the loss of them being next door.
Finley also got a new cane this week. She has outgrown her old one, and so her orientation and mobility instructor had us get her a new one. It is no longer pink as you can see. Finley needs it more often these days, so she has to treat it more like a tool and it needs to be viewed as one. She was actually okay with it. Red is her second favorite color.
