Gene Therapy

I have made a "blog world" friend of another family who has a child with LCA. On her blog, she posted this video.

This video is the boy who last year received gene therapy to "cure" his LCA and give him back his sight. While this little boy has a different gene affected than Finley, it gives us infinite hope that a cure for Finley is not far off.

This is what we fight for. This is what the Foundation Fighting Blindness raises money for. Every one of you who donates to this wonderful cause - on behalf of Finley, or on behalf of others - is paving the way for Finley's future. YOU are going to be the reason she has sight again one day. All of you - who care so deeply for her and want to help us find a cure.
