Today - the movers will load everything on the truck and pull away from our house this evening. What we will be left with is a completely empty house. After they finish, the kids and I will sweep the last of the dirt, and get in the car and drive to the new house.
It won't be the last time I see this house. I will have to return a few times to make sure everything is in order for the next month. So I won't be saying a "final" goodbye for a few weeks. Which is good. But the kids will not be back. I think Arlington is the only one who is really going to care. We will see how things go when we pull away.
