Day one with all the kids back together

Today was the first full day the kids are back together since we left PA a week ago. They were so happy to see each other yesterday. Arlington was very concerned about Cainan (and continues to be) and wanted to see his surgery site.

Today - they have played very well together. I think Cainan is missing his peace and quiet just a little bit, but has happily played with his sisters all day. The toughest part is keeping him still enough that he doesn't injure his lip and nose, but making sure the girls don't get totally bored.

For the last 3 weeks, the kids have done nothing but run from activity to activity. Today we had a down day. We relaxed. We read library books. We watched movies. We ate all day long. We didn't play outside because 1) Cainan isn't allowed and 2) it was 100 degrees.

So today was a good day. I am glad to have all of them back under one roof. We only have 2 more weeks in this house until we move to our new place, and I know the girls wanted to spend more time here before we go.

Ask me in a week if I am still glad all three of them are home.
