House Hunting day.......um.......lost count

Mat and I were in Boston again today looking around at more houses.  Thanks to our fabulous babysitter - who WILLINGLY spent 8 hours entertaining our children - Mat and I got to go alone.  No offense to my lovely children, but this was the best house hunting trip we have had so far.

So - we have seen everything we are going to see at this point.  Now - the time comes to make our list of the houses we are most interested in and decide what we can live without and what we cannot.  If we get our wish and this is our house for at LEAST the next 15 years, we want to make the best decision we can.  No regrets.

That is asking for almost the impossible.

But tonight, and tomorrow, we are going to work on it.  While we work on the final touches to the house before it officially goes on the market.  These next few weeks are going to be a whirlwind.  School is coming to and end.  Mat is wrapping up one job and starting another.  We are putting our house on the market and house hunting at the same time.

And of course, normal life continues with all of that.  Spring sports and activities, homework, yard work, time with friends, out of town visitors, an upcoming vacation as soon as school ends.  I am getting very little sleep these days because my mind won't turn off with everything that is happening.

But I am not complaining because none of these things are bad.  As stressful as it all is, it is not stress I would change for anything.
