Okay - do you see that number?  $44,260.  That is how much the telethon made for our RDH12 Fund for Sight today.  Is that unreal or what?  We were blown away.  And calls were still coming in.

I have some awesome pictures from today that I am going to try and post tomorrow.  The day was busy and fun and exciting all at once.  We were thrilled to have the Fiore family join us for the telethon.

Now - I do want to make everyone aware of a few things.

1) everyone I know is awesome and I can't thank you enough for all you have done for us

Now - I thought they were going to replay it online, but they may have some bugs to work out.  It is supposed to replay from 7pm-11pm but tonight it started around 7:45pm.  They are playing it on TV every evening here locally in CT, but online - who knows.  But here is the fun part!  It was recorded, so you can watch it at any time!  Yay.  It is recorded video on there - broken up in a couple of segments.  This will be better, I think.  You can click on it, fast forward, etc.  Just watch what you want!

    3)  As for calling in donations AFTER the telethon is over.  This is POSSIBLE!  You will still call the number from before:

                 but here is the CATCH:  (well, not really a catch, just a fact) - it will now be answered by a PERSON who is doing this out of the goodness of their own heart for the week.  One of the students (RJ) and his mom (Linda) will be answering the phones.  IF you didn't get to call, and you wanted to make a donation, please call the number above, and they will take your information.  Just tell them you are calling to make a donation to the telethon.  Donations will be taken EVERY DAY, ANY TIME from today until January 2nd - so please call!  Don't get discouraged.

I think that will solve everything.  We thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts.  There are no words to express how happy we are that we are getting to our $70,000 goal so quickly.  We hope to be there much earlier than expected!
