Scooby

Just a quick update on how Scooby is doing.  He is 10 weeks old and growing by the day.  He is definitely bigger since we brought him home 3 weeks ago.  And he is settling in nicely.
We have taught him how to sit.  He has very few accidents in the house - they are mostly our fault.  Or the rain - doesn't love going out in the rain.

He chews on everything - our hands, our clothes, our shoes, but does seem to recognize the word no and will back away.  He seems very smart.
I have had to remove 6 ticks off of him.  Stupid woods.  He loves to roll around in the leaves and the dirt so it is not surprising.

He is getting fuzzier, but his fur remains wavy.  It does seem to be getting in front of his eyes, so we may need to trim it there soon.  I will be anxious to see how long it actually does get.
He has discovered Finley's chair and can be found sitting in it.  Finley just kind of scoops him out when she is ready to sit down.  Today, though, he decided that he would try to win the chair from her and jumped up there while she was sitting in it.
Finley thought it was pretty humorous.  Silly doggy.
He follows us around outside, and we do not have to tie him to get him to stay in the yard.  I am sure as he gets older and discovers squirrels, and the neighborhood dogs, that will no longer be the case.  But for now - he is very eager to stay right next to us outside.
He is proving to be a great family pet.  He is a puppy, and comes with all the aggrevations of a puppy, but we find him very easily trainable, and know that as he grows, and the puppy habits disappear, bad habits will not stay around long.

The best thing about him?  He.Does.Not.Shed.  Not one hair.  Not on our clothes, our floors, our furniture.
And he is so soft - like a big teddy bear.

That is our update!

He's very cute. Here's hoping he grows out of his puppy traits. Bailey is 6 and we are still waiting...
