Tonight I don't have motivation to write. A friend of mine from high school lost her husband in a tragic car accident last night. They have one daughter around Finley's age, and today she had to tell her about her daddy. I just can't imagine what that would be like. Mat is my rock, and we are a team. I would be lost without him.
During this time of year, things like this can be especially tough for families. This is supposed to be a season of being thankful, and joy. Now every year, she and her daughter will have to remember what could have been instead of what should be.
I ask you to pray for my friend Kyle, and her daughter Gabby tonight. They are hurting in the worst way, and they are going to need strength.

We are a family of 5 living in Massachusetts. Mat and I have been married for 16 years, and we have three children. Arlington is 11 years old, and Finley and Cainan are 8 years old. We adopted Cainan from China when he was 14 months old. He was born with cleft lip and palate level three. This blog started out as our journey to bring him into our family and has turned into our family blog. He and Finley are only 30 days apart!! We love being a blended family, and enjoy sharing about our trials and tribulations through becoming one! Also, our daughter Finley was diagnosed in 2009 with Lebers Congenital Amaurosis (LCA) a rare genetic eye condition that has made her legally blind. Come and read about our proud family!

Dear Pletcher Family,
My humblest apolagies go out to you all. My Brother Kyle Died in November of this year. He was only 25 years old. I miss him so much and wished there would have been some way to stop him from moving down to Arizona and being involved in drugs. He passed away after the car crash because he was paralized from the neck down. He didn't want to live that way for the rest of his life. He decided God loved and needed him in Heaven. Now, he's happy and out of pain.
May God keep you safe and comforted at this time of grief. AMEN!
