Tomorrow is the day

You should be SO glad that this is the LAST time I am going to remind you about Finley's event tomorrow.

We will be having an official start to walking/biking/running the trail around 10:15-10:30 tomorrow.  Once the first round of people register.  So - if you want to come for that, please do.  We will have Finley in the front to officially start the event.  But you can come ANYTIME from 10am-2pm  to walk or just hang out with us.

And we ALSO found out who made Finley's shirts.  Her name is Paige Hall - she was a senior at Connellsville High School, and is going off to college for art!  Thank you so much Paige for the great design.  You were this years winner hands down.

So - for those of you who are coming, here are some last minute directions:

Yough Park - Coming into Connellsville from the south on 119.  When you get to the stop light near Sheetz make a right onto Crawford Ave.  You will drive a couple blocks until you come to the next stop light.  You will make a left onto 3rd street and just keep driving until you end up in the parking lot for the park.  After you park you will walk to your left into the park- we are in the 1st. pavilion.

Also - don't forget to look at the post HERE: (click on the word) and you can see what the baskets look like.  Come ready with your money because you are going to want to bid on these beauties.

And we have the Sydney Crosby Jersey, don't forget.  Authentic Sydney Crosby Pittsburgh Penguins Jersey.  This is an AWESOME raffle - you have to bid.  For just $10 you take a chance to win a jersey that is worth thousands.

We are going to be up bright and early in the pavilion setting up.
And we will be putting the baskets on this stage:
And we have this wonderful building with clean restrooms and Wi-Fi
And we have these two playgrounds for all the kids to run around right next to the pavilion.

We have all of this on top of the bounce house, face painting, balloon animals, treat bags, basket raffle, Sydney Crosby raffle, food, braille bookmarks, t-shirts, and just loads of fun.  and of COURSE - we have the trail.

For those of you who might be interested in a little friendly competition, we will be running a little contest on the trail.  It should be a lot of fun, so come down and check it out.

The trail miles are marked so you will know how far you have walked or biked or ran.  It will be a BEAUTIFUL day tomorrow - a great day for some outdoor fun.

Please come.  This is our biggest event this year and our chance to give RDH12 Fund for Sight a large push toward our $250,000 goal.  We want to see all of your smiling faces at Yough Park tomorrow - even if it is just to stop in and say hello.  One of the best parts of these events is catching up with old friends.

If nothing else - come and eat.  Lunch will be served from 11am-1pm.  Cost is just $5/person (under 3 years old is free).  We are having hot dogs, and Ham BBQ, chips, watermelon, cantaloupe, peaches, and drinks.  and of course - dozens upon dozens of home made cookies.  (we have taste tested them all and they are SOOOOOOOOO good).

We will see you tomorrow.
