New year, same goal

As the new year begins, I look back on 2011 with pride. Mostly because of what we accomplished for our RDH12 Fund for Sight. And when I say "we" I mean the RDH12 families as a whole. Together we raised over $200,000 in 2011 for our little fund. Our little fund is getting big notice now, and we are moving mountains for RDH12 and LCA research. I don't regret for a minute that we took this plunge for our daughter - not knowing what would happen what we did and now amazed at how far we have come.

This year, for RDH12 and our kiddos brings a safety study. We are eager to get to our goal of $250,000 so that we can move the study forward. We get a little baby step closer to a cure for our kids.

For 2012, my resolutions remain the same. Happy healthy kids, happy home, happy life. And of course - continue on the road to a cure for Finley. And hopefully, by the time 2014-2015 rolls around, we can say we are at the end of our road for a cure and at our destination.
